Neostead was founded by Steven D. Lawrence in 1999 as a sole proprietorship. It was later incorporated under the umbrella of Houston Internet Marketing, Inc. in 2004. We specialize in creating, optimizing, maintaining and promoting search engine-friendly websites using the WordPress platform. Our websites not only look great on the surface, but are also designed with the latest technologies and social media tools to turn curious visitors into loyal customers.

Steven D. Lawrence; President & Founder
From pilot, to chef, to general manager to business owner – Steve Lawrence encompasses a vast spectrum of eclectic professional backgrounds. From the technical to the artistic, his work clearly defines his passion. It’s here where he demands excellence wherever and whenever possible. Always in search of new and greater challenges, Steve created Neostead in 1999 to help small businesses compete on a level playing field by providing his clients with the highest quality products and services available. My story.

Stacy Lawrence; VP of Finance
Holding accounting and finance degrees from the University of South Alabama where she graduated in 1995, Stacy Lawrence oversees the overall financial operations at Neostead. Her financial and accounting experience includes senior accountant, analyst and auditor roles at Briggs & Veselka in Houston, Core Industries in Mobile, AL, and Entergy Solutions District Cooling in The Woodlands. From billing, to financial forecasting, Stacy assures that Neostead’s financial position remains strong.

Connie Strong; SEO Copywriter
Connie Strong is a a freelance writer whose articles have been published in “Texas Music Magazine,” “Texas Co-op Power,” “Texas Live Magazine,” as well as in “Horseback” and the international “Independent Music Awards,” among many others. She also pens “Conversations with the Artists,” a web column for the popular Texas music venue, The Bugle Boy. Connie’s love of music and people were the perfect combination for her recent work with Kevin and Clint Black’s charity event, Spending Time Ending Rett.
